The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, organized the "Chinese New Year 2023" event under the Study Explore Embrace Diffuse Programs (SEED Programs) and Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR programs). The "Chinese New Year 2023" event was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiwuth Tangsomchai and Associate Professor Dr. Napat Harnpornchai, associate deans of ICDI, who joined along with CMU international students and ICDI staff. The objectives are to provide opportunities for Chinese students at Chiang Mai University to introduce traditional Chinese culture (Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year) and exchange cultural experiences with international students. At this event, there were various activities, such as introducing Chinese culture and customs from different dynasties, special performances by Chinese students, playing games, and all students joined for dinner together. The event started from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, with a total number of 72 international CMU students and ICDI staff participating.
