28 December 2020
Faculty of Mass Communication
Three third-year marketing students: Ms. Chompunuch Santaveesuk, Ms. Thanapa Songthai, Ms. Suphitchaya Pudpasee, as well as a second year student, Ms. Supattaraporn Srichalayont, were selected to be a part of the 36th Working Committee of the Junior Marketing Association of Thailand, or J-MAT Next Gen. (https://www.facebook.com/SMARTJMAT/posts/3804455836271275)
J-MAT Next Gen is a project initiated by the Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT) to recruit students from Thai educational institutions who seek to put their knowledge in marketing into practice by joining the one-year-term Working Committee. This appointment will help prepare the younger generations of marketers for the real world through project administration and skill-enhancing activities such as J-MAT Sharing Together, the Marketing Route seminar, the marketing plan competition, J-MAT Awards, The Special Training Program for Marketing Trainees, among others. Moreover, the selected members deliver news and information about MAT’s activities to institutions all over the country.
There had been 35 generations of young Thai marketers joining J-MAT and in 2020, the 36th edition of J-MAT Next Gen was held under the concept, ‘Next chapter to be a new you – open up new experience toward becoming a new generation of marketers’. From 355 candidates from 35 institutions, 80 candidates from 22 institutions passed the selection and became a part of the 36th generation.
