Packaging Technology master students placed second at Startup Thailand League 2021: Mega Hackathon

On June 26, 2021, the National Innovation Agency (Public Organisation) hosted the Startup Thailand League 2021: Mega Hackathon, which aimed to develop ideas into prototypes and offer the chance to participate in the Certified Incubation Program, a start-up fund for university students. The team of Master students from Chiang Mai University was the first runner up of the Northern region for their product ‘SK Film’, an edible film packaging, with supervision from Asst. Prof. Dr. Suthaphat Kamthai. The team members consisted of four students from the Master’s Programme in Packaging Technology, Faculty of Agro-industry: Ms. Kamawan Techai, Ms. Mingkamon Duangrin, Mr. Warayut Kanthiya, and Ms. Pannet Leela, and one master student from the Faculty of Business Administration, Ms. Wilasinee Boonyen.
