ICDI-CMU proudly continues the cherished tradition of "CMU TREKKING 2023" alongside Chiang Mai University, uniting the hearts of participants on a spiritual journey covering a distance of over 12 kilometers.

Students from the International College of Digital Innovation, spanning bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, including both first-year students and seasoned seniors, along with current students and alumni, come together to partake in the enduring tradition of "Welcoming Freshmen Up the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep" for the year 2023 at Chiang Mai University. This event spans a distance of more than 12 kilometers.

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, this event is organized by Chiang Mai University to guide new students in a symbolic walk-up to pay homage to Phra Borommathat Doi Suthep, a significant temple in Chiang Mai. The purpose is to seek good fortune and showcase the unity and strength of the CMU community, exemplifying a beautiful tradition that students at Chiang Mai University have collectively organized every year since the university's inception in 1964.
