ICDI-CMU Negotiate academic cooperation with Kunming Foreign Language School, Chenggong Campus in Kunming, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China.

On November 21, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. (People's Republic of China time), the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Associate Dean, visited Kunming Foreign Language School, Chenggong Campus in Kunming, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China, to negotiate academic cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation, including Dr. Benjamas Suksathit, met with school administrators, including Ms. Zhang Yanjie, Vice President of Kunming Foreign Language School, Ms. Liu Wenjia, Director of the International Department, and Mr. Liu Chang, Deputy Director of the office. The discussions involved academic cooperation negotiations, curriculum promotion, and applications for admission to international programs.
Chiang Mai University's Bachelor's degree program, comprising 17 international programs and an Advanced Placement program (AP) for digital preparation and English language skills was presented. Successful completion of these courses allows students to accumulate credits, transferable to international programs upon entry.
Kunming Foreign Language School is a public high school directly under the Kunming Municipal Education and Sports Office, distinguished as the sole provider of bilingual education at the high school level in Yunnan Province. It stands as the largest and most influential bilingual school in the region, boasting a staff of 166 expert teachers and over 2,100 high school students.
