The Faculty of Economics Chiang Mai University Organized an international conference "The 8th International Conference on Asian Economic Development" or AED2019.  

The conference was organized with the objective of providing a forum for academic presentations and research on economic development and related fields and to give the opportunity to the faculty, researchers, students to meet with international economic development experts. The topic of this year's conference is “SDGs in Actions: Challenges and Opportunities for Asia” 

By organizing meetings in collaboration with academics from various universities. The meeting was honored by Prof. Zhu Jing from Nanjing Agricultural University, China. On the topic “Agricultural Policy and Food Security in China” Followed by presenting research on economic development in Asia from faculty, students and economists around the world during 28-29 August 2019 At Khum Kham International Convention Center, Chiang Mai.
