NurseCMU hosts Discussions on Joint Ph.D. Program in Nursing (International Program)

The Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU) organized a Faculty Visiting Program to discuss potential academic cooperation for a joint Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Nursing (International Program)

Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanee Kaewthummanukul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, the negotiations aim to establish a joint project that fosters research, innovation, and international academic integration. Joining the discussions are Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutarat Mesukko, Associate Dean responsible for Research, Innovation and Global Mission Integration, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chiraporn Tachaudomdach, Associate Dean responsible for Graduate Studies Development and Curriculum Quality Assurance.

The meeting featured esteemed professionals, including Prof. Guifang Goo, Prof. Hongyu Li (Chairmen of the Sino-Thai Alliance, the League of Collegiate Nursing Education, Academic Department, Institute for Medical Education, Chinese Medical Association), Emeritus Professor Dr. Marcia Petrini, and nine Ph.D. students (International Program).

During the event, a key discussion took place with the executives of the Nursing Faculty at CMU. The topic, "Joint Doctoral Program Collaboration," was addressed in the Strategic Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of Building 4.

This meeting marks a significant step towards fostering international cooperation and advancing scholarly endeavors in Nursing education. The Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University looks forward to fruitful discussions and the establishment of a robust academic partnership that will benefit students and researchers alike.
