Performances at the 4th ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum Thailand Chapter, AUN-AYCF-Thailand - From Lanna Stage to Intangible Cultural Heritage

Associate Professor Prasert Rerkkriangkrai, Vice President, presided over the opening of the performance from the 4th ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum Thailand Chapter, AUN-AYCF-Thailand – From Lanna Stage to Intangible Cultural Heritage, and handed over the flag to Associate Professor Dr. Watcharapol Wiboolyasarin, Deputy Director for Academic Service and Organizational Communication of Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University, who will host the 5th edition of the ASEAN Artistic Integration at Nakhon Pathom.
Khon gave a performance of the Ramakien: Hunting the Golden Deer, was performed at the event. Dr. Choltis Dhirathit, Managing Director of ASEAN university Network (AUN), gave an overview of AUN AYCF-Thailand’s background. Associate Professor Dr. Pattara Komkam, Head of the Music Department, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Dr. Choltis Dhirathit, Managing Director of ASEAN university Network (AUN), Professor Dr. Kumkom Pornprasit, Dean of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn, Dr. Pimonpan Lertlum, Assistant to the President for Corporate Image Management, Burapha University, Associate Professor Dr. Watcharapol Wiboolyasarin, Deputy Director for Academic Service and Organizational Communication of RILCA, Mahidol University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pornpawee Pumkerd, Director of Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Cultural Studies were all present. Other performances included a choir performance of the songs ‘ASEAN Way’ and ‘AUN-AYCF Thailand’, a fan dance performance titled ‘AYCF Memories: A Celebration of Cultures, The Harmony of ASEAN, The Melody of Hope’, the Grace of Thai Martial Arts and the AUN-AYCF Thailand theme song. The event took place on 4th Floor, Central Chiang Mai Airport on April 10, 2024.
