"The Faculty of Medicine is delighted to announce the establishment of a new World Health Organization Collaborating Center at Chiang Mai University Faculty of Medicine (CMU Medicine), Thailand."
The WHO Collaborating Center for Prevention and Control of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) is led by the Department of Family Medicine at CMU Medicine. The center commenced operations on April 21, 2023.
The Main missions are 1) to promote innovation and implementation research in cardiovascular disease (CVD) management, prevention and control at the primary care level and 2) to provide training and capacity building for primary care workers in cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention and control
