The International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University (ICDI-CMU) and the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) in Germany are poised to initiate a collaborative research project aimed at advancing logistics management information systems and optimizing freight supply chain operations.

On March 20, 2024, esteemed experts Prof. Dr. Thorsten Koch, renowned for his work in Applied Algorithmic Intelligence Methods, and Prof. Dr. Ralf Bornd?fer, a specialist in Network Optimization from ZIB, graced ICDI-CMU with their presence. This visit marked the commencement of a joint research endeavor to innovate logistics management information systems and enhance freight supply chain processes. They were warmly received by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, along with the executive team and research faculty. The occasion also featured a strategic meeting to outline the joint research operation plan and to engage in a dialogue regarding the formulation of effective operational guidelines.
