Faculty of Science Student is selected for the DESY Summer Program in Germany

Ms. Pantip Jaikeaw, Master Degree Student, Department of Physics and Material Science, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, has been selected as 1 of 4 Thai candidates to participate in the 2020 DESY Summer Program for Students, to be held during July 21 – September 10, 2020 at DESY Institute, Hamburg or Zeuthen, Germany.
The DESY summer program select students in the fields of Physics, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biological Science, Nanotechnology, Material Science or other related fields who demonstrate a strong capacity and have suitable qualifications. The DESY Institute (Deutches Elektronen Synchrotron) is the one of top laboratories of the world in elementary particles and research and hosts a synchrotron beam that attracts more than 3,400 scientists from around the world who come to conduct experiments at the DESY Institute.
