President of Chiang Mai University and Executives Team Visited Jesus and Mary College (JMC), University of Delhi

On February 19, 2019 at 13.00 hrs., Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., President of Chiang Mai University, along with the university administrators and administrators of the Indian Studies Center, Chiang Mai University visited Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi to discuss academic cooperation and sign a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

A visit to Jesus and Mary College, the University of Delhi is part of the visiting program to various universities in the Republic of India during 17-22 February 2019 of the Chiang Mai University administrators. Welcome by JMC’s Dean, Dr. Rosily T.L. and his executive team, Professor Niwes and CMU’s delegation had a very fruitful discussion with JMC on exchanging students and personnel in the fields that both share a common interest. In this occasion, the academic cooperation agreement between CMU’s Indian Studies Center Chiang Mai University (signed by Dr. Rangsima Wiwatwongana Director of the Center for Indian Studies) and Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi was signed to support the productive collaboration between both universities to be conducted in the near future.

Jesus and Mary College (JMC) is a women only college that was founded in 1968 as an autonomous college of the University of Delhi. In addition to the purpose of propagating the gospel of God with Christian education methods, JMC also focuses on providing education with intellectual, cultural, social, artistic and spiritual, as the slogan "ART LIGHT THOU, FILL ME WITH THY LIGHT."
