CMUBS Accounting Students (International Program) Participate and Set Up Booths at International Day's Week of Welcome (I-WOW) 2024
7 August 2024
Chiang Mai University Business School
Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiwuth Tangsomchai, a faculty member of the Department of Finance, Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University, led students from the Bachelor of Accountancy (International Program) to participate in the International Day's Week of Welcome (I-WOW) 2024. This event was organized by the International College of Digital Innovation at Chiang Mai University and took place at the Sangkeet Square, Chiang Mai University.
The purpose of the event was to provide both international and Thai an opportunity to learn about and appreciate racial diversity, as well as to explore different cultures. The event featured cultural performances and various activities celebrating unique traditions from different countries. There were also booths selling food and products from representatives of countries such as the People's Republic of China, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Japan, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Additionally, our Accounting students received support from the Faculty of Business Administration Student Club in setting up a booth selling Thai desserts, “Bua Loy”. This activity promoted unity, entrepreneurial skills, and strengthened relationships among students. It also reflected the peaceful coexistence and cultural understanding within the Chiang Mai University community.
