Biomedical Engineering Institute Vital Sign Measuring Device

CMU’s Biomedical Engineering Institute has introduced a Vital Sign Measuring Device (CMUgency) that can measure 12 vital signs of a patient including, blood pressure, oxygen in the blood and heartbeat. This device can be used in an ambulance that can link the patients’ vital data with medical team who is waiting on stand at the hospital. Currently the device is piloted in the Sansai District, Chiang Mai Province.
