Academic Collaboration and MoU between Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences and University of Vienna

During 15th-16th May, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Liwa Pardthaisong, Head of Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University; Assistant Professor Dr. Chanida Suwanprasit, Chair of PhD International Program in Geography; Dr. Sakda Homhuan, Chair of MSc Program in Geography & Geoinformatics; and Lecturer Phaothai Sin-ampol, Chair of BSc Program in Geography, were welcomed and met with Professor Dr. Patrick Sakdapolrak, Head of the Population Geography and Demography Working Group; Professor Dr. Krzysztof Janowicz, Head of the Cartography and Geographic Information Working Group; Assistant Professor Dr. Ourania Kounadi, Head of the Digital Geography Working Group; Professor Dr. Michaela Trippl, Head of the Human Geography and Economic Geography Working Group and Vice Dean Research, at the Department of Geography and Regional Research, University of Vienna, Austria.
The delegates also met with Mr. Franz Stefan Michalke, Head of International Cooperation and Ms. Janna Kazim, Senior Partnership Manager from the International Office of the University of Vienna for the academic collaborations and MOU between the University of Vienna and Chiang Mai University.
This collaboration was under the Academic Collaborative and Exchange Program for Internationalisation and Sustainable Development: Research, Education, and Joint-fieldwork with Universities in Austria, supported by One Faculty One MOU Project of Chiang Mai University.
