CMU Students Building Connections in Singapore with TF SCALE ASEAN Leaders Exchange Programme!

Our 30 CMU students have completed their first exciting week in Singapore as part of the TF SCALE ASEAN Leaders Exchange Programme! During this time, they’ve gained valuable insights into Singapore’s economy, housing, tourism, and its unique multicultural society.
One of the program's most rewarding aspects is the buddy system, where each student is paired with a Singaporean buddy. This has not only helped them explore local neighborhoods like Little India, Chinatown, and Amoy Street, but also forge strong friendships and meaningful connections. These bonds will continue to grow as the Singaporean buddies join them in Chiang Mai later in the program!
The week was packed with memorable experiences, including visits to the Harmony in Diversity Gallery, a street tour of historic areas, and a scavenger hunt at Sentosa, where students learned about WWII history and sustainability efforts through the story of Dreamer Dee’s statue.
It’s been a week full of learning, fun, and cultural exchange, with much more to come! Stay tuned for more updates as the adventure continues!
